PIAP stands for Printing Industries Association of the Philippines. It is one of the biggest associations of graphic art practitioners totalling to 600 members. It was organized in May 29, 1963 by a group of printers led by the Alberto D. Benipayo.

OBJECTIVES

The founders of the Association set the following as their

objectives, and these have never changed.


› To foster among its members that adherence to the ethical

standards of fair business practices;


› To promote their common welfare, maintain and enhance friendly relations among the members;


› To promote the general welfare of the printing and allied industries in the Philippines;


› To cooperate with the government or any agency in the study and solution of the problems affecting the industry;


› To conduct public relations and educational programs

stressing the role of the printing industry in the national economic

development.
