PIAP stands for Printing Industries Association of the Philippines. It is one of the biggest associations of graphic art practitioners totalling to 600 members. It was organized in May 29, 1963 by a group of printers led by the Alberto D. Benipayo.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Membership is open to all printers engaged in the printing business, including publishers with printing service department, and non-printers engaged in the business of selling or dealing printing machinery, printing paper material, printing supplies and also those licensed as such doing business including outside Metro Manila.

There are Four (4) classification of members:

› Regular Members

are printers licensed to engage as such in the printing business, including publishers with printing service departments.

› Associate Members

are non-printers engaged in the business of selling or dealing in printing

machinery, printing paper materials and printing supplies.

› Provincial Members

are those licensed as such doing business outside Metro Manila.

› Chapters Members

are printers grouped together as one printing organization in a locality and

wants to be affiliated with PIAP.
