Circular No. 12, Series of 2014

Subject: New ideas, programs and activities for 2014

To: All PIAP Members

Dear Fellow Members,

The Members of the Board of the Printing Industries Association of the Philippines (PIAP) held a strategic planning session last January 25-26 at the Embassy Beach Resort owned by our 1st vice president Celso S. Viray, which lasted up to 12:30 AM of the next day. This has prompted some observers to express their admiration for the hard works of the Members of the Board who have invested their talents and ideas in order to further improve our services to our members.

I would like to congratulate two of the new Members of the Board, Ms. Nancy Suarez-Sy, Chairman of Membership and Chapter Relations Committee and 2nd Vice President Lanny Go, Chairman of Research, Development and Labor Relations Committee, who immediately responded by coming out with their respective circulars to inform our members of the new innovative ideas of programs, projects and activities which will definitely help our association move forward in the right direction in providing the proper and adequate services which our members deserve.

There will be more innovation of programs, projects and activities in the coming days, to show our members that indeed the 2014 Board is working very hard to make the Printing Industries Association of the Philippines (PIAP), the number1 trade association, recognized by the government representing the printing industry.

We look forward to your containuous support as well as your trust and confidence, and we assure you that you will immediately feel a big difference, compared to last year’s administration, which has caused a shocking loss and deficit as at the end of December 2013 --an amount of more than Six Million pesos (P6,000,000.00). This is something that is unforgivable and somebody should be held responsible and accountable in order to protect the interest of our beloved Printing Industries Association of the Philippines. So this should never happen again in the future.

   JOHN L. CHOA
  Secretary General
  President Emeritus
 Printing Industries Association
   of the Philippines

 Noted:

AGUSTIN A. YBUD
President
